A Macbook is somewhat mobile, but it has a non-detachable keyboard, which makes it hard to use in certain situations, like when you are standing. I have been using a Windows emulator on Mac computers since Windows The emulator has come a very long way.

It is very stable now and nicely integrated with the macOS. But I do agree with you that one better gets a top of the line MacBook Pro with an extra load of memory. I also fully agree that a MacBook is not really a mobile device. Nevertheless if one is spending several times per year prolonged periods at various places a MacBook might be a good choice.
